Although only a short par 4, Mendip's opening hole can prove tricky presenting a sharply uphill tee shot with trees right, and out of bounds left.
Miss the big tree on the right and a short iron pitch to a small two tiered green is all that's left. Reachable by the big hitters, the green is well protected by a bunker on the right and a slope to the left.
