Somerset U14's & U16's -v- Devon 10th April

A double header, U16’s & U14’s
The matches are as follows:
The matches are 8 a side and each match consist of 4 x 4 foursomes am (8 foursomes in total) and 8 x singles pm (16 x singles in total played in 4’s, - 8 tee times). The approximate required timings for the day are as follows: - Please note the U14’s only play 9 holes am, the U16’s 18 holes am. Both age groups play 18 holes pm. All tee times are approximate and open for discussion.
09.30 (8 x Foursomes) Under 16’s followed by U14’s
12:00 Light Lunch on a rolling basis (see menu suggestion below)
14:00 (16 x singles double up 8 tee times only) Under 14’s followed by Under 16’s
18.00 Sandwiches and Chips on a rolling basis
Course- Men's (forward) Medal Tees Reasonable Pin Positions (6, 6, 6) G.U.R. areas clearly marked by white lines Printed notice of any Local Rules not shown on Score Cards etc.
Arrival-08.30 (If your Caterers can offer Bacon/Sausage sandwiches, I am sure they will sell good number. Each county will settle their own food & beverage requirements and will pre order to assist whenever possible.
Lunch- A light, one course meal to be served on a rolling basis for 40 people. A pasta dish with salad and garlic bread would be ideal or ham egg and chips etc. We would be happy to hear of any other suggestions from your catering team.
Evening- A selection of sandwiches (cheese & ham go down well with the boys) and chips for 40 people, served on a rolling basis as the players come in. Please ring me if you are in doubt over choice of food.
Payment- The account for lunch and dinner in respect of the matchday meals to be sent to the Somerset County Secretary for immediate settlement at: secretary@somersetgolfuniom.co.uk and a separate invoice should be prepared for all Devon meals and any other expense authorised by the Devon Management. I will immediately forward the visitors bill for payment. The maximum number of meals should be 20 players/officials per county unless the team managers authorise otherwise. No other items of expenditure are permissible without the authority of the team managers.
